Mud Cloth Floor Cushions

Each piece of mud cloth is so special and has a story to tell. The arrangement and symbols on the cloth reveals something secret about the intended meaning, and this language of the cloth was passed down from mother to daughter. Traditionally, the men weave the cloth and the women dye it. Once the strips of woven cloth (usually cream coloured) are sewn together, the women follow a dyeing process. Available in rust, cream, indigo and black. Dimensions: 60cm x 60cm x 20cm All handmade items are unique and one-off. They may have different quirks, which add to the charm and character of the piece. No two items are the same, which makes every purchase all the more special!
